A morphological variant of Cyttarocylis ampulla. Formerly known as Cyttarocylis cassis, now as Cyttarocylis ampulla. Lugol's-fixed specimen from the Bay of Villefranche found Jan. 20 2014. Z-stack of images made using a 20 x objective and DIC optics.
