The first species described from the Bay of Villefranche - Koellikerina fasciculata

The ctenophore described by Péron and Lesueur in 1810 as Melicerta fasciclulée is now known as Koellikerina fasciculata. Scan of a reproduction of the original water color illustration from the 2009 book by Baglione and Goy "Sur la Cote d'Azur Carnet de voyage de Lesueur et Péron en 1809".
