Bookplate of Walter Marshall Clute. Original in the Barbara Abele Bookplate Collection (Box 7, folder 18), Department of Special Collections and University Archives, San Diego State University Library, San Diego, California. Walter Clute was at the time a fellow student of L. Beulah Mitchell at the Chicago Art Institute. They would later marry and she would take the name Beulah Mitchell Clute.
