Cymatocylis drygalskii

Drygalski was the head of the German South Polar Expedition of 1902-1903. Plankton net samples gathered were the basis of Hans Laackmann's monograph on tintinnids in which he named the species after Drygalski. Bouin's-fixed speciman from the Amundsen Sea, sample provided by Eun Jin Yang. The "species"is a morphotype of C. convallaria.
