Arctic Radiolarian

Plagicanthid radiolarian, perhaps a new species according to Noritoshi Suzuki. The shell resembles a concical spiderweb. I could not get the thing to lay flat, complicating making an image. Z-stack of 200 images made using a 10x objective. Specimen from the Canada Basin in August 2010.
